On 14th September 2018, we had a lively and interactive seminar by Dr. Sudhir Singhal, the great mathematician who is also Guiness World record holder. According to Dr. Singhal, smart work nowadays yield better result than hard work. To change the result, we need to change the focus. He gave some valuable tips to learn difficult multiplication tables and square roots of large numbers. To memorise large digits, he advised to visulaise them and form images associated with it. Such an interesting seminar really casted a magical spell on us all and maths then become magic.

On 27th September 2018, Sr. Cynthia CJ shared her views on sustainable development goals, the 17 goals which are to be achieved by 2030. Some of these goals are Zero Hungers, no poverty, quality education, gender equality etc. These goals tend to bring about transformation in the world. By becoming a global citizen we can have a feeling of belongingness which will help build a better world where no one is left behind and all can co-exist peacefully.
